Apparently, it’s Fall.

The Pacific Northwest is experiencing an unprecedented drought. Unprecedented heat. Endless blue skies.

Outside, I see summertime. Inside, my calendar tells me it’s time to find this season’s one, iconic, perfect, seasonal, image.

I don’t like climate change. I don’t want to accept it.

And so, with fallen leaves and golden trees and Autumn landscapes in mind, I go on my seasonal hunt.

I bag a dahlia.
